I plan on bringing it to the dealer to have this checked out and my 15k done but I'd like to go in with ammo if this is something serious.

So when I turn on my car and sit there in PARK, the steering wheel shakes...then stops....then shakes. If ur looking at the wheel it looks like an invisible person is turning slightly left and right really fast.

While I'm driving I can feel the wheel want to slightly jerk in either direction. You have to be holding the wheel firmly or it will veer off. And when you do turn the wheel fully, you get the nothces type feeling. Like if u were turning the wheel it would feel like little hills or something in the steering. Turn...bump....continue turning...bump....keep going....bump. And you feel this in the wheel.

NO it's not an alignment thing cause the car drives perfectly straigh when u can get the wheel straight AND it happens in park...no moving.

Anyone have any ideas?

Does the car have the ecotec in it? Im assuming it does because only the electric steering cars have this issue but your electric assist motor is spazing out. Take it to the dealer and they will either reprogram it or replace it.

Ecotec = 4 cyl. 3.6= 6 cyl.

I'm betting you have the ecotec and from what you describe, I'm going to agree with bballer.
