Here is my 09 Malibu 1LT


Added the 3rd grill chrome strip

Added map, dome, and plate LEDs

My 6000k HIDs came in today, i will install those this weekend!

Whats the name of that paint color? I like it, and are those LEDs you installed giving off a blue light or is it just the picture.

That Paint color is the Transition Blue Metallic exterior... It's what I have and i think the poll landed around 20% of the members have it. Seems like the more often posts are by red, white, or silver ones though .

I like pretty much all the colors that I've seen; no more of the funky ones mixed in like the early '00's had w/ GM IMO.

those are LEDs i installed but they are crystal white or something. Its the pic that makes it look blue. my HIDs are in! but im taking a last min trip back to cali where im from (i live in az) so i wont be able to install them this weekend

Do you recall the brand/item number on the LED bulbs that you used? I was just looking on the sylvania website to see if they listed anything and they dont.

Man i love the color, i put 6000k's in, gives off a nice bright white. Much better than the amber color. I took the pic with my iphone, ill try to get a better one with my digi cam

Same here, got em on the truck and I get complimented on them often. Can't wait till I try a projector retrofit on the Bu.

finally got tinted over the weekend. Limo tint all the way around. Also got my LED reverse lights in the mail today, ill get them installed over this weekend.

I'd love to do this to my Taupe LTZ... Complete the lux look since I'm going to work like hell to avoid my front Ohio plate, since mine came without any holes, or the pre-mounted frame. I'll at least wait until a cop makes me put one on.

Yup, its just a cheap piece of chrome door stripping from Checkers Auto Parts store. It was about $10 for a few strips, i only needed the one. And in AZ where i live, i do not need a front plate, so mine didn't come with one or have holes to deal with.

I have not put tint on my Malibu yet but I am seeing more and more guys showing their windows tinted and I am starting to like the look! I have thought of doing it but I need to decide on what Tint % to put on if I do decide to go ahead and do it. I have been holding out on this because for awhile I was not sure if I was going to trade the Malibu but since I have decided to keep her, I just might have it done now. I also would like to upgrade the headlights. I find that the OEM lights light-up the road pretty good but I have seen a Subaru with LED lights go by me on the highway and it made the Malibu lights look dim as hell. I had seen and talked to the Subaru owner at a gas station we both stopped at and he said it cost him $600.00 for the full set up including the fog lights.

PS. I like the LIMO tint that you have on your Malibu, Looks good!

thanks bro! i updated my interior, reverse, and license plate lights to pure white LEDs. I must say i love them and its such a cheap mod to do. Also put HIDs in the front went with 6000k cost about $60 and installed myself
