I've noticed here lately that when i leave for work that my cruise control works sometimes and sometimes it dont, it takes about a half hour to work everyday so when i get the first chance to use it it wont work, so i usually stop at a gas station every morning, i shut the car off and when i get the chance to use it it works, so the weird thing is when i leave work and get the chance to use it it works, i'm confused why it works after not being 5 minutes on the way home but it takes like 15 minutes or so on the way to work, i did some research and said it could be a fuse or a brake pedal position sensor. Any help would be great

So it isn’t as simple as the brake sensor being out of cal and being interpreted as the brake being applied, thus leaving brake lights on and the cruise stuck in cancel mode.

Anyone know if this generation is sensitive enough to tire diameter differences that the ABS will prevent cruise? I could see a flatter tire warming up and expanding until it crosses the threshold of RPM match.

Could you share the year and engine?
could it be the part where i have to push the cruise control?
