i have a 5000 watt system in my 2014 malibu and i keep the back seat folded down, it keep sit cool and also makes the bass sound nicer instead of just having your trunck raddle so much. also i turned my sub box around so the front of the box is facing the seats. if you have a ported box you will be able to feel the vibration on your hair haha
